I bought this kit for something to do.
I am terribly good with tools but got it together without too much trouble.
I was not expecting much.
What I ended up with has caused some difficulties. There are things I dont like - really just one. The tuners are ordinary.
What really surprised me is how it sounds. It has a twang. A good twang.
I’ve got real Firebirds, LP’s etc. This thing has something none of those guitars have. I could be because the pickups are very far from the strings. I don’t know. The whole thing costs less than a single aftermarket or Custom Shop pickup.

Great kit, arrived quickly and only took 2 days to finish, used Maple stain and satin lacquer with some relicing. still some setup to do, but plays well and feels great.

Exactly as described, fantastically packed, fast shipping, seller even called me to confirm details. Great experience. Yet to assemble and test as I intend to do some finishing to the wood but everything looks great so far.
Great quality on the body and neck. Description perfectly matched item. Exactly what I wanted. Shipped from Australia to Marietta, Georgia. As expected, the local USPS made little effort to let me know the package was ready for pickup and no notification that they tried to deliver the package a week earlier. All good now as I picked it up yesterday. Looking forward to build a great Firebird replica for my son.
I love this guitar. Nice lightweight very playable guitar. Good sound. I had questions about the wiring and always got prompt and useful responses. Great company to work with. (The pickguard I received was white and I painted it black)
