The JOYO JF18R “Power Tune” combines two essential pedalboard utilities in one compact unit: a low-noise isolated power supply and a fast-response chromatic tuner. Designed to save pedalboard space while simplifying power management and tuning, Power Tune provides eight isolated 9V outputs alongside a large, highly visible LED tuning display.

The power section features eight filtered and isolated DC 9V outputs, with six outputs rated at 100mA for standard analogue pedals and two high-current outputs capable of delivering 500mA for more demanding digital effects. Each output includes short-circuit and over-current protection for added reliability.

The integrated tuner uses a rapid chromatic tuning algorithm with a large LED display designed for easy visibility across different lighting conditions. The tuner also features True Bypass, allowing the guitar or bass signal to remain isolated from the tuning circuit when bypassed.

Integrated Power Supply

The Power Tune provides a total of 8 isolated DC 9V outputs, making it suitable for powering multiple pedals from a single central unit.

The outputs are divided into:

• 6 × 100mA outputs — suitable for many standard analogue pedals
• 2 × 500mA outputs — designed for higher-current digital effects and other demanding compatible devices

The isolated design helps reduce unwanted interference and crosstalk between connected pedals, while integrated protection helps safeguard the power supply against short circuits and excessive current.

Low-Noise Power Delivery

The Power Tune's power section is designed with filtered outputs to provide clean and stable power for a pedalboard.

The supplied switching adaptor accepts AC 100–240V input and provides a regulated DC 9V centre-negative output, with up to 2000mA available to power the connected pedalboard.

Integrated Chromatic Tuner

The tuner section features a large LED display for clear visibility while tuning guitar or bass.

Its rapid chromatic tuning algorithm provides fast note detection across a broad frequency range:

True Bypass

The tuner incorporates a True Bypass circuit to minimise signal loss when the tuner is not active. This also allows tuning to be performed without introducing the tuning circuit into the audio signal path.
